Tang Wuxia is a family-owned botanical atelier rooted in Cuiping Mountain, Pingyin County, Jinan, Shandong — recognized as the Capital of Roses in China. Founded by Ms. Tang, a third-generation rose grower, our small extraction atelier sits at the foot of Cuiping Mountain, the birthplace of the Pingyin double-petal red rose.
Rose cultivation in Pingyin boasts a history of more than 1,300 years, with over 60,000 mu of cultivation and an annual harvest exceeding 20,000 tonnes of fresh flowers. It is listed as a National Geographical Indication Protected Product. Pingyin first extracted rose essential oil in 1957, making it the earliest producer of rose oil in the country.
We operate a fully self-owned chain: mountain cultivation, hand-picking between 4–6 AM at dawn when oil content peaks, and low-temperature distillation within hours to preserve freshness. Rare ratio: 1,000 kg fresh double-petal rose petals to 1 kg high-purity essence. Clean formula: no mineral oil, no synthetic fragrance, no unnecessary filler — only native rose essence in a lightweight plant-based carrier.
